Measuring Guide
All dogs are different and vary in their size. Here is a measuring guide to fit your dog appropriately for a dog collar.
The sizing on each listing is purely for pricing purposes.
Please ensure you provide your dog's measurements before checkout, as we custom make each piece to fit based on your measurements and style options.
Slip-On Dog Tag | Martingales
Measure your dog's head at the widest point, plus their neck where their current collar normally comfortably sits to make sure the size you select fits within the range of these two measurements. See IMAGE A - points 1 & 2 for reference.
If your dog’s head is smaller than the neck measurement, please note this in your order. Your collar will be made at the neck measurement.
Note: Martingales sit loosely around the neck, the chain will provide the loose fitting, adding an extra 3” or 4” to the neck measurement. 12mm & 16mm - chain adds 3". 20mm - chain adds 4".
Classic (Roller) Buckle | "O" Buckle | Quick Release Buckle
Measure your dog’s neck where their current collar normally comfortably sits, and allow sufficient room to slip two fingers between the collar and the dog's neck for a properly fitted collar. Or you can measure their neck and add two inches. See IMAGE B for reference.
How snug or loose you would like your collars is entirely your personal preference, however, please ensure it is not too big that it can easily slip off your dog.
For the adjustable Classic (Roller) Buckle and "O" Buckle: If your dog's neck is close to the next size up, and you'd like a couple of notches beyond or if your dog is still growing, you may want to consider ordering a size up.
Note: Our Quick Release Buckles are not adjustable and are made to the precise measurement you share. Please take extra care when measuring your dog’s neck.
Classic Harness
To ensure a great fitting harness, please provide the following measurements:
1. Lower neck circumference.
2. Chest circumference (around 2cm behind the front legs) this will be the adjustable part of the harness.
3. Back length (around lower neck to top of chest circumference).
4. Front chest length (breast to bottom of chest circumference.

Puppies
We recommend our adjustable Classic Roller Buckle collar for puppies, as this collar has plenty of holes to accommodate your growing puppy.
As your puppy is still growing please keep this in mind when selecting a size. For example, if your puppy is currently a small (14"), you may want to go up a size to medium (14" - 16").
Before check out when providing measurements, please highlight your collar is for your puppy, we will ensure the collar fits your puppy with a few extra holes added to them.
